REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

At BeachBumAccessories.com, we strive to provide high-quality equipment for your beach vacation. We understand that plans (and weather) can change. Our policy is as follows:

1. Order Cancellation by Renter

• More than 48 Hours Notice: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled Rental Start Date will receive a 100% refund.
• 24 to 48 Hours Notice: Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the Rental Start Date will receive a 50% refund.
• Less than 24 Hours Notice: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery/pickup are non-refundable.

2. Weather Policy

We cannot control the weather. Therefore:

• No refunds will be issued for “rain days,” overcast weather, or less-than-ideal beach conditions.
• Hurricane/Severe Weather: In the event of a named Hurricane or Tropical Storm Warning issued for [Insert County/Coastal Area] that requires a mandatory evacuation, we will issue a full refund or a voucher for a future rental, at your discretion.

3. Early Returns

If you choose to return equipment early (e.g., your vacation ends early), no refund will be issued for the unused days of the rental period.

4. Defective or Incorrect Equipment

If you receive damaged or incorrect equipment, you must notify us within 2 hours of delivery/pickup.

• We will make every effort to swap the item immediately.
• If we cannot replace the item, we will issue a pro-rated refund for the days the equipment was unusable.
• Failure to notify us immediately constitutes acceptance of the equipment in good condition.

Checkout Links: Ensure your “Terms and Conditions” page (from the previous step) is linked in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments or Advanced so the user must agree to them to process the order.

Create the Pages: In your WordPress Dashboard, create two new pages named “Privacy Policy” and “Refund and Returns Policy” and paste the text above.

WooCommerce Settings:

Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Privacy.

Designate your new Privacy Policy page in the “Privacy Policy” dropdown. This will automatically link it in the checkout footer text.
